At least piercings can be easily removed. I used to have a young chap with multiple facial hardware bring his cat to my clinic and he once asked if I could pierce his pet!!!!
My step daughter has tattoos to "honour" her two children and their separate fathers, her new boyfriend her deceased grand mother and grand father and a dear departed friend.
Absolutely NUTS.

Good maybe ? but best would be unspoiled as nature intended :)
In my humble opinion :)

If we left everything 'as nature intended' where on earth would we be? Long hair, long beards, lifespan of thirty years and gnawing on bones. And no beehives!

Oh my! I'd have kicked that guy with the cat in his pierced bits! What a *****! He needs that poor cat taking off him.

With regards to tats, I have two, only small, but I would advise anyone not to get names of people tattooed, and to think about it long and hard before they go ahead. I had one of mine done very young, illegally in fact, luckily I don't regret it and it's discreet.

Theese things might not be for everyone, but people should have the freedom to do as they please with their own body.......within reason ;)

Years ago a colleague who was a senior officer at a major ferryport found out that one of his female officers had one nipple pierced as a fortieth birthday present his comment was ' wayay lass you can have the other one done when you're fifty, connect the two with a bit of string around the back of your neck to stop them sagging to your knees as you get older' Who says chivalry is dead eh? not worthy
As you can probably guess we didn't do PC in Customs!!

Purely a matter of personal opinion believe me.

Just after WW2, my mum and sisters were looking down the street , along came a lass wearing 'The New Look' which had a calf length skirt ( Previous look was above the knee due to rationing which of course included materials )
Mum' comment was " If a lass walked past with the back of her dress cut out and her backside black enameled, by week end there'd be twenty such lasses walking past ":cheers2:
Emperors new clothes and all that! :smilielol5:

Were you guys ever young? LOL. I'd like to bet you got up to some capers or wore some fashion disasters in your time.

Tattooing cats (and dogs) was a legal requirement here until very recently.
Now they're just pierced instead :biggrinjester: ;)

Ask them about winkle-pickers, Kazmcc.

Or Mohecan hair styles.

Think they're just jealous. People have always expressed their individuality creatively through their appearance. My old man sported a tatoo; on the whole, my generation thought it naff. Now my kids both have them; I sort of half like them - but that's my prejudice and problem.

I had a mohawk too when I was 17, lol. I shall go now before I get jumped on again
:leaving:

I know, I'm only playing. I know can have a decent debate on here (usually) and feel I can express my opinion without being knocked down ;)

I never wear a watch and use Kid-leather gloves if the girls are in a mood. So there is little else to worry me.

I would probably remove my Wedding Ring if stung on that finger but it's usually index finger or thumb that cops for it if I squeeze one too tightly!

Hadn't really given it much thought. ;)
