Hi and morning, I've introduced 3 mated queen's so far into colonys after a time of two weeks of knocking cells down.
Direct into has been done with out a cage and attendants, when I've introduced the queen I've just before taken all the rest of the cells down then introduced the queen by picking her up of a kieler frame and put her straight on the frames of the colony so far I've only done this with single brood colony and smaller colonys.
So far the three queen's after three days are laying and all seems well.
I have 5 kielers going also with virgin queen's in which were put together at the same time rather than charging them with nurse bees.
I will report back on the virgin queen kielers but comb is being drawn.
