Has anyone done this?

Whats the best secondhand variable motor to use?

I have seen people use an electric drill.

Another thing i have seen used on the net is a motor from a running machine with the control panel kept you can alter the speed as well.

A running machine now thats an idea, off to ebay to see what models have a variable motor on them:)

How about combining an extractor with a running machine i.e you run on it and it powers the extractor?????

Or maybe an exercise bike.

or maybe a hamster wheel:spam:
