Turns out it the slow connection was caused by an update to the corporate firewall software. It's been backed out and everything is fine now.

I am experiencing intermittent connection problems with this web site.
Is anyone else having similar trouble. Other sites appear to be OK
Turns out it the slow connection was caused by an update to the corporate firewall software. It's been backed out and everything is fine now.
So your corporate firewall was configured specifically to slowdown this forum!!! Seems harsh!!

Probably not!

It was much more noticeable on the forum though than any other site I use regularly!

Always used a sony psp (wi-fi), never had delay yet, photos in seconds, maybe because I'm using a browser, I'll ask the kids. (lol)
