Tie a frame of brood to the end of the pole and the bees will come down to it. Then lower. Just needs two people to cope with the heavy pole when bees on it...

That isn't high!! 30-40ft is high...

yes a agree, we did it without the extension pole, which can be seen in one of the picture, that takes it to 35ft....and it looks like a big butterfly net
