I made a couple of splits of my hive and created 2 nucs using Q cells + the original hive as part of swarm management and increasing colonies. Hive doing fine & 1 Nuc produced a beautiful Q, laying well and just moved into full hive. However 2nd Nuc failed to produce a Q and began to dwindle (not too many bees to start with). 10 days ago I gave them a frame of eggs & larvae. Checked in today and frame is still eggs & larvae no Q cell and about 100 bees left.
If I put this frame with eggs & now dead larvae into one of the other hives will they just clean it out and carry on?

Personally I wouldn't bother, why give them dead stuff to clean out, just put new foundation in.
