We set up the new solar wax melter today, and with the weather today it's doing a brilliant job.

So question is how do I clean/ sterilise the frames up ready to re use?

C

Why bother, they've been in a place hot enough to melt wax!

Sorry Finman but that's the way it goes in this country, we don't have an option, bee inspector confirms the AFB and kills the bees and burns the frames, the only consolation we have is an insurance clam so we can buy new bees and frames. Enrico is only telling you how it is so I guess we are all national idiots in this country

"we have is an insurance clam so we can buy new bees and frames"

Bees are not insured, woodwork only covered. Though they sell it as Bees insurance, gross miss selling.

Sorry that was a bit miss leading to say the least, new equipment for new bees I should have said,

What ever. Boiled frames are nice to handle. They are like new.
Frames from sun melter are really dirty.
