Thanks Emily, I feel like I have a cold taste buds are ok but I'm dry and I have a headache in the back of my eyes.
Generally feel quite drained.

Get better soon...thankfully, being vaccinated should lessen the impact.
We have at least another year of this which is demoralising to say the least

I did this last year & now doing it just once a month. I found that store use is low in deep winter months and use only starts ramping up once brood rearing starts again. Also found little difference in stores usage between poly and WBCs, the latter have extra top insulation and I leave the varroa slider with correx in. The polys I leave the correx out. Other factor is colonies with late season queens use more stores than older queens, guess due to brood raising for longer.
