Changing from WBC to Nationalhive

Hi, I’ve been given a (white) WBC hive. As all my equipment is National, I want to move the contents into a (green) national hive with and extra deep brood box. Firstly, will the difference in colour create any issues? Secondly, any advice please? Thank you

No the difference in colour won’t matter… Do you mean you have a 14x12 national?
If so you existing frames will be shorter, not a problem with the odd frame but a full box could cause some interesting brace comb.

And the comb won’t be drawn true either you could checker board frames of 14x12 with your national/wbc .
