Hi all.
I managed to "catch" a cast today from one of my hives. seemed quite big, started with a nuc under the tree and when a good while later they seems quite a lot, changed it gently to a national. Not had that happen before! (the cast) That was about 2-3pm today. There are still about 20 bees flying around the box now, warm day just getting little cool now. i have lid on it now. (entrance open). I take it that i should move them. Would it be very wrong if i didnt and put it a few feet away with my other 2 hives? thanks

No need to move them if youre happy they came from your own hives.

The only reason to move a newly caught swarm is if you are unsure about their disease status.
Otherwise its best to place the swarm in its future permanent position.
