Bit of a struggle with the second one Steve, but found her. Good practice for a bloke who never finds his queens!

The thing is they are not moving and I can cheat and magnify the image!
If only it was so ‘easy’ in a sweaty bee suit staring through a mesh hood, whilst being pinged by feisty bees. And looking for one of those tiny queens.
I have to congratulate myself though, I spotted two queens on Michael ECB’s image.

Two?
Care to share? I’ve reinstated one image.
Strangely I find it much easier to spot them moving on the frame. Usually out if the corner of my eye.

I have been quite lucky spotting queens in the past... Old hunting trick...
If I may, dont look at and scan every bee, look for the anomaly!
Different movement, standing a bit taller, shuffling around etc, stop focusing on a single point and allow yourself to see the entire frame..
You will be surprised at how she starts to stand out amongst her daughters...
Hope it helps you as it has myself..
Unfortunately, dont take many pics, only when my son is "scratching around" with me...

You can only see her abdomen her head and thorax are being covered by workers.
