Can I put a National in a WBC hive.

I have one WBC hive that has a brood box that has not been cleaned since decimalisation.

I want to clean the brood box but dont have a spare.

Can I use a national brood box+national crown board with the lifts for a few days while I repair and clean things up ?

I also plan a full frame change in a couple of months but for now the brood box is a start.

Admin, yes you can if its a standard box,plus use the floor.

should be ok make sure the front entrance wooden strip on the inside is not nailed to the box, but the floor. i made that mistake once ended up holding the brood box up whilst the bee keeper i was learning from rebuilt it again
