broodless & queenless

3 weeks ago my hive (national) swarmed and i was left with 2 q cells, i then went away for a week and with the rotten weather have only recently completed an inspection,result was no brood or eggs or any sign of the q cells or q,the bees or bringing in nectar with a little pollen what would be my best course of action?

I will bet you are not queenless. Broodless does not imply no queen just not a mated queen yet.
