I've been offered "Beekeeping New and Old - descibed by pen and camera", by W. Herrod-Hempsall. It's signed by the author.

I'm not a book collector so I have no idea of the value. Does anybody know how to go about a valuation?

Many thanks
Chris

go have a look on amason for the basic book ,

after that i would make a call to a dealer in say hay on wye and say you want to sell him this book with this signiture and see what he offers you for it, allow a 50 % mark up for his costs and theres your price

Volumes I and II together are about £240.

Northern Bee Books had an unsigned volume I at about £80.

I have a signed volume I.
