A friend of mine lives just to the west of Halifax in Hipperholme.
I have mentioned a couple of times on here that he is interested in letting somebody use his land for a couple of hives. He has 45 acres. Woodland. Fruit plants, veg, etc., and fields not far away, plus residental gardens.
Another option I am looking at is that I will supply bees and a hive to start with and that somebody might like to teach him the basics of looking after them and in the process should be able to make a nuc from them and a bit of honey at some time..and have your own hive there. He does a lot of hydroponic growing, so you might get lucky with some free veggies.
You can also, if so inclined, drool over his cars..
