she looks s though she has been stung a few times in her top lip haha

There's a Dances with Bees on the forum.
Perhaps it's her...

All I can say is "It takes all sorts!"

Although I think VEG is right she has taken a couple of jolts to the top lip!

Didn't Phil McCabe go for the record on this activity?

Saw that video on You Tube before... Watch out for the really hairy armpits... Eewww.

She has a queen caged around her neck to keep them there.

Takes all sorts I suppose, but not my cup of tea.

I thought this was an interesting response:

Barking mad exhibitionist. This is very bad for the bees. She does this by smearing her skin with artificial Queen Pheromone - so the bees think that they are swarming with a real queen. All the time they are clustered on this stupid narcissist they are losing energy. they should be back in the hive, feeding young bees, or collecting pollen and nectar from flowers. She is damaging bee colonies for the sake of making a fast buck and promoting her snake-oil medicine show.

Looks to me like she's got something tied round her neck - caged queen perhaps?

I have been known to do the "bee inside the veil" dance on occasion lol

Yep done that one to Veg. Not to be recommended when your allergic to bees.

Apparently they stung her 16 times - horses for courses I guess.

Doubt it caused them any harm.

I had one go head-first up my nostril. Even worse is feeling the tickling slowly ascending the inside of one's thigh........:ban:

at least she'd have no trouble getting to the bar..

apart from killing themselves in the course of it of course

Poor bees. They must have a lot better things to do. Yep I have done the bee in the veil dance too. Unfortunately the Seasonal Bee Inspector took hers off and did the bees in the hair dance which is much more interesting. She said she had not done that for many years.

Must add that I think the inspector visited before the last of the foragers from a not very pleasant queen had died off. I am hoping for better things next time.
