Looks lovely again and I can see bees flying which makes me happy.

Went for a walk pre 8am in loverley sunshine but 2C and frost in places..

Bees out this am at 8C - gathering water.

Worked in greenhouse/garage too cold and windy to do proper gardening.
Rain, sun, hail, snow - all in one day. Typical April then...

Horrible start here as well with an E wind barely letting the temps get above 10C. Wales and parts of N England seem to have the best of it at present. It's unusual so good luck to them.

I'm not sure where that information is from but i can assure you it is wrong, today's weather and temperature up North is on par with the coldest day in mid winter, in fact the sleet/hail/snow and wind is worse now than in mid winter.

I was in a wood earlier on today trying to light several strips of bangers to scatter the rooks from there nests, i ended up stoop behind a tree for 10mins trying to get out of the hail my head was numb and i had to go home and get changed, weird weather for sure, its pitch black now just like half hour before dark.

In Cwmdu and Tretower Court today. It rained, it was sunny, it hailed, more sun, snowed, bit more sun. All the while the wind was still cold and temps did not reach 10 all day.

Out of the wind chill here today the mercury did not get past 5c.

I have dug my woolly hat out not getting caught like that again
was pitch black an hour ago now bright again, moment you step out of the door the wind chill gets you.

it was like a mix of sleet, hail and rain. forgot i left van window open as it was nice and warm in the morning by time we realized it was raining and closed it i just knew I was in for a soggy drive home.
