Swarm 40ft up in oak tree - update

Update: it's day 4 and the swarm are still in the tree. I've given up on the cardboard box and the nuc.

On the advice of the forum, I've borrowed a national hive which I've placed on the roof of our old landrover and put the car under the oak tree, below the swarm. Here are a couple of pics.

I've also put a bit of honey on a couple of the frames inside. There's a great deal of activity around the hive. Bees going up to the swarm and back down to the hive. Could of course, just be robbing I suppose.

I might have thought they'd be in need of a home by now but they will do whatever suits them.
