Difficult to control the amount of smoke esp when the smoker is 'resting'. SteveG on here has recently treated himself to a motorised version. He pressed the button and the three of us were enveloped in a dense cloud of impenetrable smoke.....I reckon that if you're enduring sufficient smoke as to be giving yourself health worries then you're making/using too much smoke!
I have to admit if I get the wind direction wrong the smoke from the smoker sticks in my throat causing a coughing fit, acrid!!!
Put such fuel, that it does not make too much smoke.
smokeless?Which fuel do you advise?
I use dry rotten birch.Which fuel do you advise?
I teach Tai Chi. The moves are all very slow and gentle. My pulse rate can get up to 120. Its all about Chi energy. Stick to gastroenterology AmariAshtanga yoga combines both physical and mental health..I always end with 3-5 minutes in a relaxed child's pose.

But it does. It’s like meditation in motionThose days are over, thank God.
However an interest in physiology, which you and I were taught many years (60 in my case) ago, persists. So, how does 'very slow and gentle' lead to a pulse rate of 120???
Same here. I have the smoker going in the background but it's only used once per hive before I open them. I have even added lavender oil to the spray.... may not do anything for the bees but does wonders for meI have used nothing but water spray for the last year, and this is one of the reasons why.
Maybe he is reliving is bonging days?stop wrapping your lips around the nozzle of the smoker - don't you get blisters?
I remember as a 1st year doctor seeing my heart surgeon boss telling a patient off about his smoking only to lean forward and drop a packet out of a pocketMy sister used to be a journalist and on one occasion did a piece for Harefield hospital trust. She has a lovely picture of Magdi Yacoub with a packet of Rothmans poking out of his scrubs pocket.
quick snort of Amyl nitrate? So, how does 'very slow and gentle' lead to a pulse rate of 120
A quick half hour on here of an evening usually does the trick as well! You get more cardiovascular response with Tai Chi than jogging.

Yes I thought you might appreciate it.What an amazing study - a comparison of pulse rate during Tai Chi and jogging! I was expecting the comparison to be between, say, 500 carefully matched folk in each group. Instead in this case n=2 !!! Definitely a candidate for the annual IgNobel prize....
