Cant beat a black sight hound!

Had runners of one sort or another most of my life..that is nice little pooch.. do we detect a bit of Saluki in there..

Not sure of the heritage. Got him from the rescue as a lurcher so could be any mix. Going to get a DNA test done because I think he's got some black lab in him.

Doesn't have the standard pointy greyhound nose, barks all day but does have a mega prey drive...

Have you had pooches that work priory to this little diamond ..

Nope. He is our first sight hound or working dog.

Good on you for getting a rescue..a black lab is a unlikely and not a favoured mix in any sight hound unless by a mistake mating..not that it matters you have give him a good home and that is all that counts..

This is my logic. There were 8 x black lurchers at the rescue. Could well be an accidental mating so they just dumped them. Definitely going to get a DNA test. I reckon at least 90% greyhound though
