If the OP is still looking for a swarm there's one round here somewhere, I have decided that national poly hives are just not big enough; It was looking a bit cramped last inspection so I put a super on but obviously missed some qc's.

I inspected again on Wednesday and no queen, no eggs and no little c's as we call them; we had big C's so it looks like she went 5 or 6 days previously. I've split them into a poly nuc, 1 qc with each as insurance but will probably unite them again once they are mated and laying.

First swarm of the season and we missed it :(

I had a swarm last Sunday. Plenty of space, clean colony, must have been a failing queen, I believe; she was from a 2012 swarm so may not have been properly mated.

More likely just a swarmy strain. You must expect to regularly check for swarm queen cells during the swarming season.
