any ideas what these are?

I've just bought a lot of dadant hives and in with them were these items which appear to fit together. Any ideas what they may be?
There is also more of the brown wooden frames but with very fine mesh over one side of them.

It looks like a home made method of maybe combining hives and nucs. Just a guess

That was my thought, the hives did come with travelling screens which are totally different though so I was unsure

Or maybe populating nucs for sale or drawing new foundation in a nuc out to comb.

At first I thought the frame parts look like the type of fame used for a glass crown board but that doesn't fit with the black part.
