Interesting variation on the Ross Rounds principle. Question for Anna: are the plastic rings re-used, and have local material alternatives been explored?

I ask because I wrote to Ross Rounds a couple of years ago to ask whether they intended to develop an alternative material to make the rings; the reply suggested they weren't too bothered.

I will keep adding to this thread a little at a time , they use anything and everything and many local materials. She is pretty good at marketing and has developed quite the little industry of independent beeks from which she and they benefit
