I was given a small swarm two weeks ago on old comb there wasn't alot of brood so I placed a frame of brood from my July caught swarm which is doing OK..a week ago...this hatched and there are eggs and larvae seen
Do you think it would be OK to take another frame of brood from stronger hive which has 5 frames of brood as I'm worried the small nuc might not get through winter

It's still only August, you've given them a bit of a boost - just give them peace now to build up naturally - otherwise you're in danger of robbing Peter to pay Paul

Why don't you joint those colonies. 5 frame brood is too smal colony to overwinter. It may be alive in spring, but build up is very slow.
