Is it practice when fumigating brood boxes with acetic acid to include the winter stores in same before transferring frames to needy colonies?

Fumigating Brood boxes? Or Brood frames? Just blow torch the former & yes if in any doubt about disease then fumigate the drawn comb (inc stores) before using in other colonies. If you're confident that comb with stores is free of any possible issues then nothing to stop you moving it about.

Ice acetic treatment affects only to nosema and EFB. It does not affect on AFB.

EFB derives from queen weakness. Nosema is everywhere and it does not harm in summer.

Finman & Woodenbeam, many thanks for your comments & advice. Woodenbeam, yes, I had intended it to mean brood box of frames. I have often scorched a box but thought the Acetic acid would do the job on both. As some colonies were weak post winter/autumn I had a fear of possible Nosema C (no dysentery) and did not want to share! Finman, take your point of Nosma being endemic. Thanks again.

It's good practice to fumigate with acetic acid all brood frames from dead out's found in spring if you plan on re-using the comb. I wish I was better organised to do it myself.

Ethanoic is not effective against everything that proper scorching will remove.

Something more aggressive than ethanoic acid is required, to be confident AFB spores are destroyed per eg, where non-scorchable boxes are concerned.
