A forum without posts is not a forum.
A forum without financial support is not a viable forum.
A forum without debate is not a forum.
A forum without disagreement is both boring and unlikely to extend knowledge - so it's not my kind of forum!
A forum without members is definately not a forum.
A forum with differing views expressed, sufficient funding, an easy to navigate interface and 4000+ members is great. It takes all sorts of contributions to keep such an entity fresh and alive. Financial contribution is not the be-all and end-all.
