    Nuc wanted

Less the price of frames and foundation as well, seems pretty decent if you're not lucky enough to know someone giving swarms away, it's not like the reply is hiding what they're offering. What's the point in having a wanted section if you can't reply or get shot down if you do?

What's flowering as forage in your area

Correct Incorrect - nothing to do with natural England as Murox is in Scotland ;) Incorrect - SGRPID can impose penalties / fines where appropriate  Back on topic - HB

    Bee basehive count....

Thanks, it was meant to lighting the mood. You're comparing chalk and cheese. As I said in my first comment Hivemaker was taking this :ot: comparing other "livestock food producing farmers" with beekeepers/farmers.

    Bee basehive count....

Post #63, if you want compensation be prepared for regulations. All primary food producers should be regulated, it's in the public interest, I'm surprised beekeepers have got off so lightly for so long.

    Bee basehive count....

That will be clarity that it's very unregulated, thanks.

    Bee basehive count....

I'd be careful what you wish for, especially involving a government body. :)

    Bee basehive count....

Maybe they would get compensation if everyone filled in the survey as there would be more funding available... ;) As I said in a previous post this is pretty much off topic as beekeeping is pretty much unregulated, whereas other "livestock food producing farmers" as Hivemaker put it are very...

    Bee basehive count....

That would be compensation, not a payment as you were implying.

    Bee basehive count....

Other livestock food producing farmers don't get payments from maff (or what ever their current name is) as you put it so why should bee keepers. Anyway this is :ot:

Part OMF & part solid floor

Likewise mine are part OMF, part solid. Possible advantage of going under OMF, less chance of this happening...? http://www.beekeepingforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=38586

True, the new equivalent extractor is nearly £2500 so I'd like to think you would get free shipping! :)

    20 Frame extractor

Okay, :thanks: Was thinking about £650 but would be open to offers. Suppose if anyone on here is interested they can PM me

    20 Frame extractor

Not sure why this was moved as it's not for sale and was only trying to gauge a price as there's nothing online to compare it to what I think it's worth. If I do sell it, it's is likely to go through the local auction to be honest
