Whoohoo our first honey

Am glad to say we have just harvested 3 lbs of honey. A glorious golden colour. Am well chuffed

Now what I would like to ask is this:-

I am about to treat with Thymovar and am a tad confused.

I want to leave a half filled super with the girlies. Do I leave this on top of the brood box whilst treating, put it underneath the brood box or take it off completely? If the answer is take it off - then do I put it back on after treatment?

all thymol treatments work best in minimal space. so i'd remove. you can add back underneath after treatment.
