bees WILL die out. Bumble bee species have died out and are dieing out

Sorry but not around my neck of the woods, I have never seen so many bees as this year and at one point i must of seen a few hundred bees/bumbles foraging at one time in a garden.

...
'Purity' in any compound which has undergone a chemical reaction is a myth. You only need look at analytical grade laboratory reagents, which are as pure as anyone can get (without spending HUGE sums of money on further purification), but even they are never 100% pure.

So where do you find "purity"?

Bees will outlive man.
Why have you twisted my words Redwood to make me say what I Did NOT Say.
Liar!
Is it that women should be seen and not heard?
Centrefolds don't have opinions?

Come on ... I think you are reading things that are not being said ... I've never seen any sign of chauvinism on here ... one hiveism in plenty ... but not sexist at all.

Some of the great knowledge on here comes from our lady members ..they are much appreciated, The stick you are getting is for your comments, not your gender !

:iagree:

I think this is one of the best things about beekeeping - gender of beekekeper is mostly irrelevant, and it's something that's rarely, if ever, mentioned on this forum.

Sorry, WWB, but you're out of order.

Thank you Little John. How perseptive of you.
Perhaps it is the bees lost attention to the natural forage. When I give them syrup. It looks odd to me.
As if they are on drugs.
They are not bees any longer. They are not so enthusiastic to fight for life.
To toil to survive. Man is forcing his ideals on his pets.
They will get sugar.
They will not get all the things we know nothing about.
Unyet we do know some of the benefits of honey.
Their food.
Yet we feed them sugar?
Am I making any sence?
Replace a complecated elixir like honey .........with sugar?
Then poisen them now and again.
Thank God 50% survive.

Alas most are keeping bees in extreme circumstances (hives) that restrict their opportunities to defecate. in these circumstances the bee keeper either supplies a lower residue feedstuff or provides an environment that allows the bees to be warm enough and stimulated to fly on more opportunities to defecate.
