Hi guys,
Just want someone to confirm this last Thursday 5th June, I gave a suspected queenless nuc a frame of brood in all stages on Thursday 12th June, I inspected the nuc and found they had drawn out 5 queen cells. 4 were capped, one was nearly capped.
Now I don't want them to swarm but I want to keep hold of all the queen cells buy putting them into cages until they emerge and then put them into mating apideas ready for any splits in make.
I haven't got any cages but have just ordered some and I predict they will be here Tuesday. Do you think any of the queens will emerge by then?
My calculations say this weekend, am I right or wrong, thanx in advance
