When to stop looking?

Do they get scratched much when clearing off propolis or comb off them?

A little of you're not careful. I put mine in the freezer then scrape the brittle wax off with a plastic spatula. Propolis comes off in hot washing soda afterwards

Full inspections are over and for some weeks now but last week I pulled a few central frames so as to check on new queens laying pattern and glad to say all was good. I have a combining to do so a bit of fiddling in one hive for sure.

I did a quick check of my two hives this week just to make sure they had plenty of stores, and also to see if the queen was still laying.

Both have loads of stores, and plenty of capped brood (even a few drones) still present
