What, no spuds??

Hi all,
I am pleased with the progress of my new swarm so far. Seem busy and bringing back polen etc. Not checked for laying yet. I was happy to see a big field of potatoes at the end of the quarry yard, but then dissapointed that people are saying on the forum that the bees do not work spuds.

We are located in the Herefordshire countryside and wondered if anyone can tell me the next things that will be available to the bees..

Brambles (=blackberries). Lime trees. Clover.

Then rosebay willowherb, himalayan balsam perhaps.bb
