Test frame was 80% eggs from a healthy strong colony. Now I think about it, I agree the QCs are probably not emergency just mid-frame.
I was thinkning about risk of swarm/cast and also virgin-conflict. The QCs are all sealed with about 4~5days to go before hatch.
Do I reduce the number of QCs? if so how to select good from bad?
Could I do a weird one, cut out and graft a section of frame with some QCs and go for increase in a nuc, pinching bees and brood from my other colonies?
