Inspection am, no qcs, eggs, so laying queen supered up 2 honey 1 foundation, so plenty of room. Pm temp 22c so not too hot, now bees mob handed walking out entrance up to top of hive big cluster??

Just to confirm,
you inspected this morning,
you saw no queen cells but you did see eggs so there was a queen present when these eggs were laid.
You put two supers on, one with foundation the other already drawn?

The temperature is 22c and your bees hive come outside in a cluster.

I would suspect they are coming out to fan/cool the hive.
Do you have an entrance reducer in place.
If it is an open mesh floor is the inspection board in or out?
Is the hive in direct sunlight?

Hottest day of the year so far.

I've spent the majority of the day stuck inside (without air-con) wearing paper coveralls!
Couldn't wait to get outside when it was all over. :sunning:
Expect bees are just doing the same.

yep probably right but open meshhfloor no correx in .no entrance reduction not in direct sunlight, other hves in sunlight seem content.

think Ill put a wet sack over this one tommorrow
