I read the following post on a forum - Anyone tried? or is it just delaying the inevitable
"The creator of the waspbane trap has also stated, if a small colony is being robbed by wasps, whether it is a hive or nuc. block the entrance of the hive early in the morning and place the trap in front of the hive , by the early afternoon, you remove the trap and open the entrance of the hive. There should be no more wasps attracted to the hive as they have gone into the Waspbane and problem solved. I haven't tried it but that is the theory"
