Wasp Like Insect

Hi I caught this wasp like insect today, kept it for a few minutes to establish that it wasn't an Asian Hornet, but I couldn't find out what it was.
There were two of these on my lavender with the honey & bumble bees.
Can anyone identify it?

Thank you, I have looked at some pictures of Ichneumon xanthorius (Male) on the internet & yes that is it. Thank you for responding.
It wasn't really a beekeeping question, but as a year 1 keeper of bees, my eyes have been opened to a lot of aspects of nature, which I really didn't look at before.
So it's great to have the support of the forum.
