There appears to be a bit of a shortage of washing soda ... it's normally between 80p and £1.00 a kilo and is still being advertised in the supermarkets for around that price but when you go to buy it ... Out of stock ! On line it seems to be going up in price as well ... I've just picked up the my next years supply 12 Kg delivered at £1.29 a kilo. I don't know what's happening but I use it reguarly and I've run out so ....

home bargains had plenty last week, or was it a week before that !!!
I tried Home Bargains, B & M, Homebase, Sainsbury, Tesco and Asda - all my usual sources as they are nearly all normally around 80p a kilo and I've rarely had a problem getting hold of it .... is there just a local shortage - seems odd that nobody had any ?

Goodness ... I missed that entire thread ... how does that happen sometimes ? ... I always check new posts first ...

So ... you are solely reponsible for a run on washing soda world wide then ? :devilish:
