Wallace and Gromit Swarm collecting vacuum

I'm thinking of making some sort of swarm vacuum using a brood box with frames a fixed mesh floor with a box below with a 12v fan of some sort, perhaps a 12v extraction ventalator fan for a bathroom to give the gentle suction required. on the top of the brood box would be a roof with the hose conected to it going on to a length of rainwater pipe with a hopper on the end to gather the bees in. Maybe it could connect to the 12v supply ie cigarette lighter socket in a car/van to supply the power.

I made one last year that works off a proper vac, but then I have a generator I can run the vac off. I got the design from tinternet http://www.beesource.com/files/beevac.pdf
