If you have capped comb at both ends as you said, move the combs nearest the entrance and place them at the other end (or eat them). Put new bars in there place, nearest the entrance. Or have you got entrances at both ends ?
Thanks both, should have been clearer - there is capped brood at both ends of the brood nest with combs of eggs and non capped brood between. Just seems a bit higgldy piggldy - but maybe a response to the fact they were so nectar bound last week. Entrance is at one end (I could take to corks out of the other end if you think would be beneficial?) I did put some empty top bars adjacent to the brood yesteday but I'll spread it more thoroughly on Wednesday. Think I'll also give a comb to a recent swarm capture and maybe to the other half of the split that resuted in this Queen as they expanding but slowly.Forgot this is a TBH, she needs room so if not moving beyond the 11 frames or stopped by a wall of stores spread the frames. If they are induced in to raising QC's they will have to be split again.
