Volume/weight of bees for mini plus

Hi, there are many threats regarding poly nucs, but I cannot find how much bees I should put in mini plus?

If starting with fresh foundation I use a generous mug full to fill one half (three frames) of a mini plus.

I've used 1lb before with 6 frames and that's worked well

use the same density per unit area of frame.

work out the total area of of your nationals frames all 11 or 12 of them and then the total area of of your mini nuc. The ratio of min nuc frame area to national frame area will give you weight or volume ratio of bees national to Nuc.
allow ~2kg of bees for the national if you dont know.

Roughly 250g for 3 frames or 500g for 6 frames.
