Given the places some people keep bees successfully, I'm not sure I'm convinced.

well we all know that there is a fair chunk of the beekeeping community who look for excuses to explain why they let their bees die.
 
What would be really interesting is if someone from Ipswich beekeepers can invite the said beekeeper to post what their losses have been, when they occurred and answer thw following A) Have tbey hefted their colonie(s) before winter and fed if required B) Are they treatment free and C) how long have they kept bees.

I am not convinced at all about vibrations killing bees. There are too many of us on this forum who keep bees or know people who keep bees next to major international airports and motorways to name a few locations that causes vibrations with no issues with their bees.
