after picking up a swarm and they are doing fine im on a single b/b i have my other hives on doubles your thoughts on putting a supa with foundation( 11 frames ) without a q/e knowing they are still on 50% foundation in the b/b would putting it on hinder them just a though

If you are planning to go away for a couple of weeks and you are concerned they will need the extra space then adding a super is fine, otherwise keep them condensed until they are covering 7-8 frames and have filled the brood chamber with stores.
