aw one of these recently in local equipment supplier. he had got it in especailly for his own use. cagey and would tell me make and I did not get to see a Brand.

Takes Langstroth, which would be OK, would like to get one for demonstrations. Anyone seen them for sale , know who makes them ?

I've seen one in the flesh and it looked ok in terms of the basket and gearbox. Personally I wouldn't buy it because they are made from acrylic which would probably crack if it tipped over and fell onto something. Unless you find one made from polycarbonate, which would be virtually unbreakable.
Like most things, they are just a generic Chinese product, badged up by whoever wants to sell them. Plenty on Alibaba for example. If you don't need the novelty factor of watching the honey hit the barrel, then I don't see any advantage over a stainless or white plastic one.
