I use the same starter word each day. Do other folk vary theirs?

I nearly always use the same, I may change it at some future date if I revise my strategy (of avoiding common letters, in hard mode I want to eliminate rather than get locked in too early). Today was unusual in getting 2 hits, I get 0 in about 70% of games and 1 hit in about 29%.
