Good afternoon.
So, during a recent inspection, my brother poked his finger into the very corner of one frame in the super , only a tiny bit and he was suitably admonished! He said the honey tasted amazing.
However, I put Apilife Var into the hive five days ago so the honey had a thymol flavour.
My question is about the guidance to treat once the supers are removed.
Is that because Apilife Var makes the honey unsafe for human consumption or is it simply that the taste of the honey is different?
