I will reach around 50 hives this year
What are the recommendations of extracting equipment
Needed to manage between 50 and 100 hives , I know I will need to build another shed (clean room)for processing..
Any1 that has already done this , I would appreciate your input

Yep been there.

Built a twelve by 21 foot honey house.

If you are involved with heather then consider a swing basket machine and a proper loosner.

I found that any backlog in processing honey was without doubt 'uncapping' and 'extracting', look for a decent uncapping system and without doubt go for a 'Tangential' extractor, this cover the options if you have heather honey. Also if you are jarring honey I would definitely go for a hand label machine, the time these same are incredible, every label in exactly the same place and straight. Regarding a shed/honey room, I'm in the process of doing so, I'm lining it completely with plastic boards both ceiling and walls.

Thanks for input must look up the hand labeler,
Those hardrock plastic sheets are very expensive

Currently have a 9 frame am thinking on a 20 frame for speeding things up , the wife and kids can help me with the uncapping for now

got a decent one from Abelo in the summer - 20 frame radial with four tangental screens - they were on sale then, not sure they are now though

Theres a couple different hand label machines, I tried the cheaper one off flebay but had to return it and buy the slighlty more expensive labelroo which is worth the extra.

Thornes do the Konigin Machines which seem better value than the Lyson machines, closer to home Irish Bee Supplies in Ardee is a supplier so might be worth going to take a look at.
