I thought that this might be of interest:
Technicolour OSR
Not sure if the bees might be confused, or end up producing designer Pantone honey.

Definitely an opportunity in the future to sow two, three or four colour graphics for the advertising revenue or just plant rude words in Chinese, Arabic or some other non Latin script.
 
It would be a novel way of dealing with pollen beetles. Let's hope it they can trigger the colour, and hope it works.

Would the red make it more attractive to bees?

No, as bees don't "see" the red end of the light spectrum . Red flowers like poppies reflect UV which the bees can see (but we don't) so alot will depend on whether the red OSR reflects a decent amount of UV or not.
 
Thanks. So it'll probably look like grey or black, with white honey guides?
