I sort of agree with that but not for his reasons...
Wealth used to related to some conservative commodity, That is conservative in terms that mass and energy are conservative.
Wealth was land, gold, slaves horses, hours you worked etc...
or nearly so.
And trouble occurs when wealth becomes increasingly non-conservative e.g. the South Sea Bubble, the Tulip craze.


Now the wealth in the world is now almost completely non-conservative. Most of the wealth is in derivatives, selling the equivalent of lucky numbers, gambling on lucky numbers going up or going down in value. Wealth is coming out of nothing and disappearing into nothing . i.e. its all based on faith.This act of faith is gigantic, often estimated at more that $1.2 quadrillion. Some market analysts estimate the derivatives market at more than 10 times the size of the total world gross domestic product, or GDP. The reason the derivatives market is so large is because there are numerous derivatives available on virtually every possible type of investment asset, including equities , commodities, bonds and foreign currency exchange (lucky numbers).

That faith can disappear overnight (its not conservative) and take with it wealth that is based on the tangible

Who tells a story has always had their vision on it.

we have always been controlled, It does not matter how much money you have as there will be somebody controlling it.
We need to be controlled
we need rich and poor.
We need intelligent and not so intelligent
we need people who can work with their hands
we need healthy people
we need good food
we need good hospitals
we need (at the moment) a high birth rate
we need a good education system (not only Universities)
we need work
we need jobs
we need to export
we need infrastructure
we need strong leadership
Now you have the basis for a prosperous country

We don't need trade unions, just a fair system of profit sharing and health & Safety.
We don't need propaganda
We don't need to fight other peoples battles for of shore investors
We don't need to live outside the UK

But shirley without beekeepers there would not be any bees to make the honey, and as Varroa and all the diseases mankind is transferring.. without any thought.. around the globe ( plus the new pest of invasive manuka and its ilk)
