I have mastered the art of avoiding sweaty footwear through my years of walking miles upon miles while hiking and hunting but it is not cheap.
Lowa GTX extreme Gortex boots are the way forward but they are a bugger once you have them laced up only to find a foreign object in there, my favorites are a pair of leather lined Le Chameau Chasseur, they are a cracking wellington boot but they no where near justify the price.
