No fun looking for a queen to mark after a hike up a hill with sweat running in your glasses, got the job done but think a sweat band might do the trick in future inspections

Best I've found for the problems you've encountered is a peaked cap of the American variety of a good fit. Sweat runs off the peak if it gets that bad.

I've bought a sweatband from local sports shop

SWMBO picked one up at Beetradex from Simonthebeekeeper - she reckons it does the job

Buff copy off fleabay for couple of quid. Can be shaped to various forms of head gear and dry quickly

Knotted handkerchief, providing head size is not too much oversize.

I use a sun visor - like a peaked cap but minus the top part. This serves as a sweatband, a hair band to keep hair out of my eyes, a sun visor and ensures the wind can't blow the veil back on my face. When wearing a round style hat and veil it helps make the hat a tighter fit on my head which stops it falling forward or blowing off in the wind. Added to that it is bright yellow with a picture of spongebob square pants on it so I look supercool!
